Mae sefydliad cyfarwyddwyr IoD Cymru wedi datgelu'r arweinwyr busnes rhagorol ar gyfer rhestr fer Gwobrau Cyfarwyddwr y Flwyddyn Cymru eleni.
Mae'r gwobrau blynyddol mawreddog, a gynhelir mewn cydweithrediad â'r prif noddwr Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd, yn cydnabod uwch-benderfynwyr sy'n helpu i adeiladu byd gwell trwy fusnes, ac sydd wedi dangos rhagoriaeth arweinyddiaeth mewn meysydd gan gynnwys arloesi, datblygu sgiliau a chynaliadwyedd.
Mae 38 o gyfarwyddwyr o'r sectorau preifat, cyhoeddus a'r trydydd sector wedi cael eu henwi yn y rownd derfynol mewn 10 categori, gyda chyfarwyddwyr o Goleg Caerdydd a'r Fro a menter gymdeithasol Sir y Fflint Cyd Innovation Ltd ymysg yr enwebiadau gydag ymddangosiadau ar rhestrau byr ar gyfer tri chategori yr un.

The Institute of Directors Wales (IoD Wales) has today revealed the outstanding business leaders shortlisted for this year’s Wales Director of the Year Awards. (10/04/2026)
The prestigious annual awards, held in collaboration with headline sponsor Cardiff Business School, recognise senior decision-makers who are helping to build a better world through business and have demonstrated leadership excellence in areas including innovation, skills development, and sustainability.
38 directors from the private, public and third sectors have been named as finalists across 10 categories, with directors from Cardiff and Vale College and Flintshire social enterprise Cyd Innovation Ltd leading the nominations with appearances on the shortlists for three categories each.

BCRS yw'r chweched benthyciwr sefydliad cyllid datblygu cymunedol sydd wedi'i achredu gan Fanc Busnes Prydain o fel rhan o’i gynllun cyllid cymunedol. |

West Midlands-based BCRS Business Loans allocated £20m by the British Business Bank to support smaller businesses across the West Midlands and Wales (Press release I 09 April 2026)
The British Business Bank has allocated £20m to West Midlands-based BCRS Business Loans to support underserved small businesses across the West Midlands and Wales, with loans ranging from £25,001 to £250,000.
BCRS is the sixth Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) lender accredited by the British Business Bank under its Community ENABLE Funding (CEF) programme and is the first with a dedicated focus on Wales.

Cwtch Communities is managed by WCVA and funded by Comic Relief.
Small grants for Welsh grassroots organisations to strengthen their work and deliver positive social change within their communities. Grants of between £15,000 and £35,000.
Successful projects will be expected to demonstrate the impact of the grant through storytelling and publicity activities.
