Cynefin Pamoja
Cynefin Pamoja, which means "Belonging” or a sense of habitat in Welsh and "Together" in Swahili, is a vibrant community group for African and Caribbean people in Newport.
The aim to foster positive relationships within the Newport community and among different ethnic groups and provide a hub for cultural exchange, an advocate for environmental sustainability, and a nurturing space for youth development. They also focus on enhancing employability and education, empowering individuals with skills and opportunities to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Cynefin Pamoja aims to promote racial equity among residents of Wales and foster integration through cultural events that increase cultural competency. These events serve as a platform for promoting understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures within the community.
