Mae Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru wedi cyhoeddi cyfle newydd, cyffrous i ysgolion ac Ymarferwyr Creadigol mewn partneriaeth â Llywodraeth Cymru.
 
Maent am rymuso rhwydwaith o ysgolion i ddyfeisio a chyflwyno prosiectau arloesol a chreadigol sy'n archwilio themâu allweddol Cynefin: Pobol Dduon, Asiaidd a lleiafrifoedd ethnig Cymru, ac maent yn awyddus i recriwtio Ymarferwyr Creadigol ysbrydoledig i weithio ar y cynnig dysgu creadigol newydd hwn i ysgolion.
 
Bydd 25 o Ymarferwyr Creadigol llwyddiannus yn derbyn ffi o £4000 er mwyn cwblhau'r gwaith hwn.

Arts Council of Wales in partnership with Welsh Government have announced a new, exciting opportunity for schools and Creative Practitioners.

They want to empower a network of schools to devise and deliver innovative and creative projects that explore the key themes of Cynefin: Black, Asian and minority ethnic Wales, and are looking to recruit inspirational Creative Practitioners to work on this new creative learning offer for schools.

25 successful Creative Practitioners will receive a fee of £4000 to complete this work.

Mae'n amser gwych i gyflogi prentis!
 
Ar hyn o bryd mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn cynnig cymhellion prentis i fusnesau ar gyfer unrhyw fusnes, beth bynnag eu maint neu eu sector tan 28 Chwefror 2021:
  • Hyd at £3,000 ar gyfer cyflogi unrhyw brentis newydd
  • Hyd at £2,600 i'r busnesau hynny sy'n ail-gyflogi prentis a ddiswyddwyd ar ôl y 23ain o Fawrth
  • Cymhelliant o £1,500 i gyflogi prentis anabl

Wythnos Prentisiaeth Genedlaethol 8-14 Chwefror
Now is a great time to take on an apprentice!

The Welsh Government is currently offering businesses apprentice incentives for any business, regardless of size or sector until 28 February 2021:
  • Up to £3,000 for the employment of any new apprentice
  • Up to £2,600 for those businesses who re-employ an apprentice made redundant after the 23rd of March
  • A £1, 500 incentive for employing a disabled apprentice

The Personal Learning Account Programme may be able to help by:

  • Supporting the skills development of your employees through flexible training courses
  • Enable them to gain qualifications to help meet your current skills gaps
  • Help you address current challenges and grow the business

Flexible Skills Programme
Upskilling your employees with the Flexible Skills Programme Partnership Projects

Is your business success constrained by current skills within your business?  Is your business considering a new business opportunity, new technology, an expansion plan and growth?  
The programmes may be able to help you with financial support towards upskilling your staff.  There is currently specific programmes to help:

  • develop advanced digital skills;
  • address export related skills challenges
  • support skills gaps in the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector
  • Upskilling in the Compound Seminconductor sector and its supply chain
  • support skills gaps and upskilling in the Creative Sector
  • support skills gaps and upskilling in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector
  • Recruiting an IT or Engineering graduate
