Cardiff Salad Garden
Cardiff Salad Garden is a not-for-profit social enterprise combining growing and selling fresh cut salad leaves whilst working with disadvantaged groups of individuals from in and around Cardiff.
They are located in Bute Park, one of the most central parks in Cardiff, using a greenhouse within The Walled Garden to grow our produce.
At the green house they run gardening sessions educating people about food and developing horticultural skills; working on confidence building, improving social skills, language and promoting positive mental health and community cohesion. They work with asylum seekers, refugees, individuals with mental health problems and in substance misuse recovery, but also other disadvantaged groups from within the city.
